In this episode Natalie and Ron discuss:

  • Balancing a corporate job and an entrepreneurial venture
  • What corporate leaders must focus on in today’s world
  • Maintaining relationships and connectedness in the new normal
  • The LEAD framework
  • Doing the uncomfortable

Key Takeaways:

  • A corporate job and an entrepreneurial journey can be hard to balance, but if it’s something you truly want and love, it doesn’t feel like work.
  • Stress is a silent killer, so don’t neglect your physical and mental well-being. Putting yourself first should always be your top priority so that when you show up, you show up in a way that is calmer and more focused.
  • Relationships and connectedness can still be maintained with the new normal; you just have to change the way meetings are structured.
  • Leading effectively requires learning about yourself, enrolling others in your vision, affiliating with the right people, and showing dedication.
  • It’s often the uncomfortable things that lead to growth – push yourself out of your comfort zone and you’ll find new opportunities.

“Stay committed to your goal and stay connected to your passion. The work becomes a passion in and of itself, and know why you want to do what you want to do.” – Ron Skillens
